Wilderness Wood, East Sussex

Hello wonderful guest, and welcome to our wedding website.

We are getting married in the woods, and would be absolutely thrilled if you could join us in celebrating this magical day.

Wilderness Wood is a much-loved community woodland in a small village in East Sussex. It is home to a forest school and Christmas tree farm, not to mention acres and acres of other beautiful trees! As great lovers of the outdoors, it is the perfect setting for our wedding.

Timings

Please arrive at 12pm. The ceremony itself will start at 12.30pm, but guests must arrive 30 minutes beforehand. There will also be a welcome drink waiting to greet you!

Celebrations will continue until 10pm. For those that choose to camp onsite, however, the singing around the campfire will continue for as long our lungs will last!

What to wear

We would suggest keeping two words in mind when choosing what to wear to our woodland wedding…. ‘Woodland’ and ‘Wedding’!

Yes, it will be an outdoor wedding, so things like suitable footwear and weather appropriate layers may need to be considered. However, it is also a wedding, so feel free to get dressed up to the nines if you so fancy! Any questions on this please do give us a shout.

Confetti

If anyone is planning to bring confetti, please make sure it is natural confetti only. It’s important we take care of our lovely woodland floor!
